I know you might not like the idea of eating only vegetables or mostly vegetables, but it’s important. In fact, there are certain factors that should steer you towards eating vegetables. People who eat vegetables a lot are less prone to suffer from heart diseases and even many of the other diseases out there.

The early men made it a habit to always divide meat with other clan members. Meat based occasions such, as Thanks Giving is merely a continuation of something that has been in existence for while. But that doesn’t mean we should continue eating meat in such occasions. Nothing stops us from eating vegetable based diets even during such occasions as Thanks Giving or Christmas.

There’s a lot wrong with eating only meat based diet, whether you look at it from the health perspective or from other perspectives. Eating meat for some people is even seen as something which is morally wrong. Meat is gotten from animals such as cattle, chicken or turkey. Do you ever stop to consider how many animals are being maltreated and slaughtered daily to provide the meat for you? If you do, then you might begin to think differently about eating only meat based diet.

Eating vegetables is actually the natural order of things. However, not many people are keen about sticking to the natural order of eating a vegetable laden diet. The fact about the matter is the junk is more attractive to some people than a plate filled with celery. But it’s time to start asking yourself whether you are serious about being healthy and alive or not. If you are, then being a vegetarian is something that you shouldn’t waste time on.
