The Amazing Plant Called Green Tea – Health Transforming

by anonymous user on March 19, 2011

Green tea has been known in the West for decades, but it’s such a powerfully beneficial tea that so many don’t quite fully realize. Yes, Asian people’s have been consuming green tea for centuries and enjoying the healthy benefits of it. Even though it’s a drink that can be very good to drink as a beverage, what matters the most is that it is so healthy for you. What follows next is a discussion of all the great reasons to drink green tea for improved health. By the way, one of my favorite weight loss supplements is Shakeology. Check out these Shakeology reviews.

As you know, we’re sure, cholesterol plays a huge role in our health and lives, and green tea can also provide some support in this critical area. You probably know about good cholesterol which is also called, HDL cholesterol; well, this plant food also works to lower your overall cholesterol count. These findings have been born out in both human and animal studies. Daily consumption of the tea or capsules has the greatest impact on overall health.

We all know about the value of consuming antioxidants, well just as you may have expected; there are powerful antioxidants within green tea. So what green tea also does is support with the proper regulation of blood pressure and cholesterol – just to name a few. Green tea is a powerful source of antioxidants, and an especially important one called EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate), which has a wide variety of health benefits. That is the same as what you’ll find in vegetables and fruit, although there are obvious differences, etc. We heartily recommend fresh fruit and vegetables, of course, but you’ll get that great antioxidant from the tea.

You can do your liver a favor with the detoxification properties within green tea. While you’re detoxing your body, the antioxidant class, catechins, will step in and make your immune system stronger. What all of this implies and means is your liver will receive some powerful help as it works to keep all the toxins and poisons out of your body. To get the most protection from green tea, you would ideally consume three to four cups every day, or the equivalent of this in supplement form.

It’s really all good with green tea because it is natural, safe to use, not expensive, and it’s found in many places. You can take green tea in a capsule, or you can make a great tea and drink it. Also, green tea is helpful to those who want to lose weight since it has caffeine in it, but only roughly half the amount as found in coffee. While we have discussed some of the benefits of green tea, it was by no means a comprehensive treatment. The effect of green tea for the entire body make it seem like an anti-aging food if taken regularly.

The benefits of green tea are enormous and powerful, and who knows what else will become known about it. If you want to start taking it, you have a choice of drinking tea or finding a good green tea supplement. Of course you need to take it regularly so you can experience all the benefits. Lastly, don’t forget to read this post called “Shakeology weight loss“.
